I have two websites that show numerous attempts to login by unauthorized users. I have been using IP GEO Block to eliminate foreign login attempts. I ran into a problem when I changed my WooCommerce settings to have PayPal messages sent to a different email address. I had to disable IP GEO Block to do that. I have been using a plugin that limits login attempts from a given IP address to no more than 4 a day .It's called "LIMIT LOGIN ATTEMPTS." I have recently had endless problems with mail.com logins although I got thru this time. Malicious adware appearing at the login screen blocks the login box. You can't remove the adware by clicking on the "X" and it overrides popup blocker settings.

Thanks for these tips, Laura, Last year, hackers had locked me out of my blog for a couple months, so I will implement your advice to foil future hackers.
