Can i still be a marketing researcher if i study mass communication?

I am currently deciding what diploma course i would wana choose.I would also wana huv more job options,so i chose to study mass communication.I wana b involved in d advertising industry,event planner,being an editor and i may even wana b involved in marketing,especially in being a marketing researcher. But i don't really knoe whether i can still b a marketing researcher if i study mass communication?

of course you can.. most people don't end up in the indestry they studied for.. if you're good at what you do.. employers will always look at that and you can get into the field you like
