How does advertising in magazines effect teenagers?

I am doing a media research project about the effects of advertising in magazines on teenagers, I also need to know how advertising is used in articles, types of advertising and things that are advertised.

Magazines can make stars look super and lure in Teenagers. The magazines make it easy to admire stars and products which gets teens to buy things to fill their desires. I think magazines are a great art form. I don't look or buy magazines anymore because its a waste of money and paper. I just get whatever I want from the internet.
