What is the differences between exploitation and advertising?

As the controversary was in an article I just read but it did not resolve the question. I wish to know your thoughts of the differences? Like does it mean when they play a commercial too many times during one show that it is over kill? Or when they use sex or just super models to sell their items is that exploitation or advertising?

I think exploiting is deliberately using dishonest tactics in order to deceive or cheat in any way. Advertising, on the other hand, is an attempt to sell or let others know of a product or service (good or bad) that is available, thus giving the buyer or user the choice of making up their own minds without undo pressure.
